Spicy Spaghetti Noodles Recipe

Making these spicy spaghetti noodles is nice and easy, the advantage with spaghetti is that you can get in anywhere and normally have some knocking around in a cupboard. This recipe serves the noodles cold as its traditional in South Korea to eat cold spicy noodles in the summer.

I have used the following ingredients:

2 Handfuls of Spaghetti
1 Carrot
1/2 Courgette
2 Mushrooms
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
2 tablespoons of Apple vinegar
1 tablespoon of gochujang
1 tablespoon of sugar
1/2 tablespoon of sesame oil

Begin this dish by boiling water in a saucepan, and cook the spaghetti in this. Cut the vegetables in to slices and fry in a frying pan, carrot first as this takes longer, once they are fried put on a plate.

Noodles mixed with sauce

In a small bowl mix all the ingredients for the sauce well so that the sugar dissolves in it, hopefully by now the spaghetti is cooked or getting close. Once the noodles are cooked, drain in a colander and then wash really well with cold water for a few minutes. This obviously makes the noodles cold but it also improves the texture.

Spicy spaghetti noodles on a plate

Put the spaghetti in a bowl and add the sauce and mix well, finish by adding the vegetables again mix well and its ready to eat, I have also made an omelette which I have sliced and added to but this is personal choice. Enjoy your Spicy spaghetti!
